Serving the Anderson, Indiana area since 1992 with cutting-edge, compassionate health care for women
©2010-2012 Jeffrey M. Blake, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., Anderson, Indiana. All Rights Reserved.

Meet Dr. BlakeDr. Jeffrey Blake specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and has been serving the Anderson, Indiana area since 1992. Jeff received his medical degree from Indiana University and completed his Obstetrical and Gynecology speciality internship and residency at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Blake is one of only a few physicians in Indiana who provides cutting edge procedures like laparoscopic hysterectomy for uterine problems, InterStim for urinary incontinence and advanced pelvic floor repair procedures. His experience, skill, innovative philosophy and compassionate spirit have made him one of Anderson's most respected and sought after physicians. You don’t have to talk with him long to understand that what motivates him is his compassion to help his patients.
Practicing principally at St. John's Health System in Anderson, Dr. Blake is able to partner with the hospital in pursuing continued advancements in gynecologic care. Dr. Blake fits right in with the innovative philosophy at Saint John’s and its highly skilled medical staff. Saint John’s is unique for a community the size of Anderson, and Saint John’s physicians are often among the first in Indiana and the United States to offer procedures utilizing the latest technology. Dr. Blake also performs surgeries at Community Hospital Anderson, and is now seeing patients at St. Vincent Medical Center Northeast in Fishers, IN.
As of August 2010, Dr. Blake has refocused his practice towards gynecology. Although he still treats infertility and follows pregnancies through the first trimester to confirm viability, after much thought and deliberation, Dr. Blake has given up his obstetrical practice including pregnancy management and deliveries. This will allow more time and commitment to furthering advancements and quality in speciality women’s care. See article in The Herald Bulletin for more information.
Jeff, his wife Jen, and their four children, Emily, Amanda, Ethan, and Andrew live in nearby Pendleton. They love living in a smaller community with a hometown feel, enjoying their land, woods, creek and space to work outside. Among other things, Jeff enjoys photography, gardening, cooking, camping and landscaping (with 10 acres there's a lot to do). He also enjoys drawing and painting, model railroading, swimming, running, construction, water gardening playing trumpet and piano, and driving his tractor. He’s a creative guy with a warm, outgoing personality that patients appreciate. Jen is busy as an active volunteer in their community and schools. Their faith is at the center of their lives and they are both are very involved with church activities.
